We would like to let you know about another great development at preschool!
As you know, we at Westbere take outside play very seriously. We feel it really enhances the children’s day at preschool and provides them with all sorts of experiences and play opportunities that they couldn’t access otherwise. Because of this, we have some very ambitious plans for the outside play area at our home in Westbere Village Hall. We won’t be making any structural changes but as some of you may know, we were recently lucky enough to be granted a really nice amount of money by the National Lottery Community Fund and the plan is to purchase some brand new play equipment, primarily the use and enjoyment of the preschool children. We are all so excited!
Our plan is to start spending the money in the Autumn/Winter term this year and we will obviously be updating the site with lots of photos to show off our new equipment.
We are incredibly lucky to have received this award and we really hope you will pop in to have a look at your children playing, once the equipment has been bought.
