Westbere Pre-school (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website (“the Site”) to provide information about our pre-school. This policy explains how we handle personal data in connection with the Site itself. It does not cover data we collect about children and families in the course of running the pre-school (registration forms, Ofsted records, safeguarding information, etc.) — that is covered by our separate pre-school privacy notice, available on request from the setting.

1. What this policy covers

This Site is an informational website only. You cannot:

• fill out or submit any form on the Site
• leave comments on blog posts or news items
• register or sign up as a user

Because of this, we do not knowingly collect personal data through the Site itself

2. Information we may still receive

Even though the Site has no forms, some personal data may still reach us or a third party in these limited ways:

• If you contact us directly — e.g. by phone, email, or in person using the details on our Contact page — any information you choose to give us (such as your name, email address, or details about your enquiry) will be handled in line with this policy and used only to respond to you.
• Automatically, via our hosting and website software — our web host and WordPress (the software the Site runs on) automatically log limited technical information for security and site operation, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time/date of visits. This is standard server log data and is not used to identify individuals.
